Communication Skills Team Building

AESDC courses are taught using a combination of lectures, guided participation, drills, and practical/real-life communication practice. The course is designed tquickly equip participants with a degree of confidence in their own communication skills, allowing them tparticipate more readily in conversations, both in personal and professional exchanges.

By the end of the training, participants will have:

  • Describe and understand the characteristics of effective teams, the stages of team development, and individual differences and roles within a team;
  • Have practiced skills in supporting team development through its formative stages, constructive and assertive communication, and conflict resolution;
  • Share and discuss a vision of their ideal team, steps towards creating a guide for successful team performance, and a plan for monitoring progress toward achieving a common vision.
