Business Correspondence

This course focuses heavily on two primary skills: the ability to fully develop an idea and the ability to express that idea clearly, logically and concisely. Participants are taught to use punctuation, sentence structure and vocabulary as tools to achieve these goals.

This program allows students to gain knowledge used for communication within and between organizations that is usually intended to request, inform and persuade. The course teaches students how to compose business letters and e-mails that are clear, concise and accurate. The course also touches upon creating accurate reports and business presentations that are specific to the needs of the organization. This course also servers as a prerequisite to the Technical Writing course.
