FAQs
Q: How will the course be conducted?
A: The course is essentially a leadership workshop. Participants apply new skills and techniques by studying real-life case studies, and then doing simulation exercises with others.
Q: I’m new at being a leader and know almost nothing about leadership. Can I take the course?
A: Of course. The course is designed to accommodate people who are either new or experienced at leadership and management. This is accomplished by starting from participants’ contexts and existing attitudes, surfacing actual problems and issues, and helping participants identify hidden strengths and resources that they may not be aware of.
Q: I already have leadership experience. What new stuff can I gain from the workshop?
A: The workshop takes a unique approach, combining emotional intelligence and leadership principles, as well as communication and positive psychology. For example, the course starts by surfacing common errors and mistakes of leaders and how to correct. It then provides real-life case studies of companies like General Motors, Apple, etc, and guides participants in simulating these scenarios to practice new skills and techniques introduced in the workshop.
